Summer Style

Summer is here! And you know what that means? Summer music festivals and outdoor concerts! Although Coachella has already come and gone, there are many more festivals sneaking up on us.

But, let’s be honest…outdoor concerts aren’t just about enjoying the music, they’re about showing off your funky fashion choices! Coachella tends to set the standard of what is “festival appropriate.” So why not mix it up a bit with some of your personal style?

After scrolling through pages of pictures of attendees, I noticed a few more prevelant fashion patterns than just your usual boho/hippie chic. I decided to name them Bohemian Rocker, Flower Child, and Warrior Princess.

And with the help of my friend Joanna, at LittleMix-StyleBlog, we created a few outfit ideas just for you!

Bohemian Rocker
is for my punk rock girls (or guys) who love to wear all black, ripped jeans, and their grungiest boots. Yet, they feel inspired by the bohemian look so they might pair their usual attire with a flowy kimono and some layered gold jewelry.
Flower Child is for my earthy people. Throw on a loose dress or romper, a flower crown and some sandals and it’s time to dance in the wind!
And lastly Warrior Princess. This is a new and very prominent trend this year. Not only do they dress like greek goddesses, the makeup to match is phenomenal. Warrior makeup at festivals has been a major trend this year. I was extremely inspired by these Warrior Princess makeup looks from Little Mix:
