Pretty in Pink

Lately, I’ve been really into pinks. I can’t believe that sentence even left my mouth… But, since I’ve been makeup free on a daily basis, sometimes putting a full dramatic face on feels like too much. Even for me! Jeez. Who am I?!

My favorite Clinique educator gifted me with the A Pink Honey Affair palette and I am OBSESSED! It’s literally perfect. Okay, it’s figuratively perfect…but perfect none the less! I can create a nude look (see above) or tap into the darker purples and create a seductive smokey look, as well. Not to mention the palette is the perfect size! It fits in my makeup bag OR it’s small enough to fit into my Made Supply Co. Stevie clutch (which I’m also obsessed with)!
I’m also in love with the Becca Luminous Foundation. I love all things highlight. I want my face to look like a freaking disco ball! But I have discovered  with most luminous/dewey foundations they’re very lightweight and you have to have near perfect skin to pull them off… And your girl has some acne scars she’s dealing with. So, I put my first layer on and it actually looked pretty decent! I dusted a little MUFE finishing powder over it and then used my beauty blender to apply a second layer. It gave me complete full coverage! Coming from a Kat Von D Foundation girl, that’s nearly impossible. I definitely think this will be my Spring/Summer foundation. What are some of your Spring/Summer favorites? Leave them in the comments blow!
