Glossip Girl, here. Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Hollywood’s cosmetics elite.
I crack myself up! I couldn’t resist.. But for real. There’s been some DRAMA in the cosmetic industry lately. But I don’t want to talk about that just yet… let’s talk about some lip glosses! More specifically: Kylie Cosmetics lip kits and glosses.
Recently, I bought a new hair toy from BellamiHair.com: a wrap ponytail! I’ve really been struggling with the limited hairstyles I can rock with short hair. When I saw that they were only $39, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity!
I’m very pleased with my purchase of the 20″ Synthetic Mochachino to Blonde Ombre ponytail. And I figured I would share a few photos and a “How To” tutorial on how to apply it! Enjoy!
First of all.. Welcome to my new and improved blog! I took a few months off, but that doesn’t mean I was just lounging around. I was working my little tail off to make a lot of improvements to Gadden Rose. I hope you like them!
Secondly, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY! Or Singles’ Awareness Day, OR Gal-entine’s Day (as Meero Mani Nails, informed me), whichever you are celebrating. In the spirit of things, I pulled inspiration from Kylie Jenner to create this fun, glittery Valentine’s Day look for you all! I hope you enjoy!

If any of you are as nerdy as I am, you went to see Hunger Games Mocking Jay Part 1 at midnight!
Not only am I a huge fan of the book and movie series, it holds sentimental value to me. When the first trailer released for Catching Fire I was automatically drawn to Katniss’s makeup look when entering the Capitol for the second time.

I sat down in my living room behind my camera and filmed it, just for fun. It was my fourth YouTube tutorial and I was only expecting the 100 or so views I had been getting, up until this point. Boy did I wake up to the coolest surprise…. Continue reading
“Isn’t the view beautiful? It takes my breath away. Well, it would if I had any.”
-The Corpse Bride
Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. And what d’ya know it’s right around the corner! It’s the one time of year you can be ANYONE you want, for a night! And as a makeup artist and hairstylist it becomes even more of an adventure. We can really show off our skills and take a costume to the next level.
Recently, I’ve become obsessed with Instagrammer and YouTuber, Mykie. She is a wizard with special effects makeup (check out her channel here)! She really inspired me to go get some liquid latex and try something outside of my comfort zone.
I’ve always loved the movie Corpse Bride. And every year I say I’m going to dress up as her. But I never wanted to dress as the animated version of her. There are some amazing tutorials out there (like this one) for that look. BUT me being me, I wanted to take Emily to the next level. I wanted to make her dead and gory. So with a few tips from Mykie’s Frost Bitten Elsa video, I grabbed my white makeup, some liquid latex and got started!
And who would I be if I didn’t film it to share with all of you! So take a look below:
London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 took place a few weeks ago, in September. I have always loved seeing the styles coming down the runway, but I also love checking out the street style. Not just with clothing but with hairstyles, as well! It’s a great prediction for future hair trends that are about to trickle over here, to the U.S.
While I was looking through all the pictures, I noticed one of my biggest inspirations and favorite YouTubers was in attendance: Tanya Burr. She’s not only an incredible human being, she’s a talented makeup artist and product developer (check out her products here). I’ve looked up to this woman for a few years and it’s amazing to see the impact she is making on so many lives, as well as my own!
Back to fashion week! Tanya posted a picture of her hairstyle for the Burberry and Issa shows on Instagram and I absolutely LOVED it! It was a simple swept back updo.
And the hairstylist in me decided I had to recreate it! So I filmed a quick tutorial showing YOU how to achieve the same style! It’s great for events or even just wearing throughout your daily routine.
